Legislative Content Creation Internship (Rep. Arbit) (Paid)
The Office of State Representative Noah Arbit seeks a creative, passionate, innovative, artistic, and motivated individual to serve as a content creation, social media, and brand management intern.
The content creation intern will work with and report directly to Representative Arbit to develop an understanding of his personal voice and brand, his constituency, and his political and policy platform to pitch ideas for content creation, design graphics, edit videos, draft written copy for posts, and work alongside him to develop and maintain a captivating and innovative content program to reinforce his unique political brand, reach target audiences, and elevate constituent outreach and awareness.
The content creation intern will gain hands-on experience working in a fast-paced environment, as well as a deeper insight into the inner workings of the Michigan Legislature and legislative offices.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate-level academic program. Successful applicants will possess strong writing skills; have advanced knowledge of and experience working with major social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X; strong experience with video-editing principles, graphic creation platforms, as well as a keen and detailed eye for visuals and graphics. A basic understanding of state and federal politics and the legislative process is preferred.
