Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial and operational principles (e.g., how project expenses and labor hours impact a profit & loss statement).
  • AI Fluency: Familiarity with using modern AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate data restructuring, problem-solving, and formula generation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions).
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases, data structures, or modern cloud-based ERP environments.
  • Solid foundation in statistical concepts
  • High attention to detail, data accuracy, and strong analytical thinking.
  • Effective communication and the ability to present visual data findings clearly to non-finance teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with large datasets, timesheet data, or financial project tracking.
  • Familiarity with data transformation tools, such as Excel Power Query.
  • Exposure to data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or native Kantata/Sage dashboard builders).
  • Basic familiarity with coding languages like Python or SQL for data manipulation is a strong plus, but not required.
  • Ability to manage multiple data tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Learning Opportunities

  • Gain hands-on, real-world experience in cloud ERP data management and agency financial analytics.
  • Work directly alongside experienced leadership and our Accounting Manager to build out department infrastructure.
