Management Intern

Management Intern 

Start Date: TBD (summer or fall)

Type: Part-time (12-20 hrs./week) 

Salary: $16.00 per hour

Front Desk Responsibilities

  • Interface with Resort & Chapel guests, families, staff & professionals
  • Maintain efficient/professional relationship with Vendors, Contractors, government agencies (Fire, Health Dept, DNR, etc.), and local agencies/businesses.

Office Work

  • Graphic Design with Canva for special promotions, flyers, etc.
  • Assist with technology, social media, & emails
  • Help develop and maintain Resort Reservations & Wedding folders

Housekeeping:

  • Strip out cabins & conduct cabin inventory post check-out
  • Chapel breakdown & clean up post wedding, conference, or event
  • Maintain housekeeping supplies

Supervisory/Business Exposure

  • Interface with vendors, housekeeping, maintenance and laundry service
  • Post check-out & event completion evaluations (check for damages, etc.)
  • Assist with instruction & supervision of wedding helpers
  • Review forecast, budget, & business projections
  • Book-keeping review

Other

  • Help with planning, prep, and execution of Resort and Chapel Events (weddings, reunions, movie nights, etc)
  • Maintain safety for Resort and Chapel Guests
  • Water Supply: Monthly sampling, chlorination, and water softener
  • Pool Area/Dock: daily sampling, safety equipment, pavilion area, & review with Dock Co.
  • Sewer Plant: Tour & Review with Sewer plant manager
  • Resort/Chapel Fire-Safety Equipment & Inspections, Grounds, Playground, Fire Pit, etc.

Dress Code

Resort: Dooley shirt, shorts/skorts, Hiking boots/Sneakers 

Chapel: Chapel shirt, black capris, pants, skort, & closed toes shoes
