Salary: $21.00/hr.
Under the direction of the Instructional Programs Manager, the Program Coordination Intern will play a key role in supporting MCC’s seasonal programs. This hands-on position offers experience in program administration, event coordination, and customer service.
- Assist with camp check-in operations by collecting forms, verifying attendance, and ensuring accurate documentation for camp providers.
- Support parent communications by sending reminder emails, collecting required forms, and organizing information into a well-structured binder for MCC use.
- Help monitor and evaluate program activities, providing feedback and contributing ideas for new workshops and events.
- Participate in teen excursion trips, assisting with logistics and ensuring a positive experience during visits to amusement parks, beaches, and other destinations.
- Provide on-site event support for major community events, including Independence Day celebrations, by helping with setup, logistics, and post-event surveys.
- Assist in the program guide process by creating bookings, preparing room setups, and compiling content for publication.
Requirements: Applicants must be junior/senior in college or university. Must pass a criminal background check and child protective services check to the satisfaction of the employer.
