Human Resources Intern

Looking to gain real-world HR experience in a fast-paced environment? The Human Resources Intern plays a key role in supporting our high-volume hiring season by assisting with application processing, reference checks, and new hire onboarding. Working alongside our Talent Acquisition Team, this paid, part-time internship offers hands-on experience in recruitment operations, career fair support, special projects, and core HR functions while providing a meaningful exposure to the full employee lifecycle.

Opening:

  • Human Resources Intern
  • Part-Time 20 hours / week
  • 12-week assignment (April - June)
  • 240 internship hours
  • $17.66 / hour

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED required 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word and Excel) required
  • Must be proficient in the reading, writing, speaking and comprehension of the English language
  • Must be proficient in the use of office equipment 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Working Environment: Hattie Larlham is a professional work environment that operates primarily under normal business hours, 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday, at our Westerville, Ohio Office. The intern must be flexible to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
