Educational Internship Structure
This internship is designed as a structured educational experience aligned with students’ academic and career goals. Interns work on supervised projects that help develop professional skills in media, storytelling, branding, casting, and digital content while building portfolio-ready work.
Interns are supervised by Asjai Lou, a Casting Director and Producer with over 20 years of experience in television, advertising, and media production, including projects such as American Idol, Big Brother, and national campaigns for major brands.
Interns receive weekly mentorship and feedback sessions to review projects, discuss learning objectives, and support professional development. On select projects, interns may also receive feedback from industry professionals working in related fields.
Students who successfully complete the internship may receive letters of recommendation and may be featured on Asjai Lou’s social media platforms highlighting their work and creative contributions.
This internship is intended to complement academic learning and provide professional exposure rather than replace paid staff roles.
