The result of this collaboration may lead to several coauthored scholarly publications and conference presentations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in both artificial intelligence and academic writing, with familiarity in using GenAI tools like ChatGPT. The RA will support the project by conducting literature reviews, summarizing scholarly articles, synthesizing existing research, assisting with data collection, and helping recruit student participants for studies, among others. - Summarize and synthesize key findings from scholarly articles
- Assist in identifying gaps in current research and contribute to developing research questions
- Help recruit student participants for surveys and other data collection methods
- Support the preparation of research presentations, papers, and reports

- FRAF students funded by this program are required to meet with URF staff to discuss future undergraduate research and fellowships opportunities.
Students may not hold multiple grants from our office simultaneously (your FRAF student is not eligible for AURA or DRA within the same semester as their FRAF; they are eligible before or after the FRAF semester).
Qualifications:
- Current undergraduate student (for AY 2025-2026) in English, Linguistics, or any related field
- Familiarity with GenAI tools, such as ChatGPT, and how they are used in academic contexts.
- Understanding of and experience in academic writing, particularly the IMRaD structure, is preferred
- Experience with academic research, literature reviews, or data collection is a plus but not required.
