About the Program
The Summer Internship Program is designed for individuals aged 18 and older who are college-bound or pursuing trade or professional education. Interns will assist in various roles with partnering agencies to support community initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
As a Summer Intern, you will:
Collaborate with partnering agencies on community-focused projects.
Support program operations through tasks such as data collection, event planning, and project management.
Engage in activities that promote community development, education, and well-being.
Assist with administrative duties, including maintaining records and preparing reports.
Represent Joliet Township Government with professionalism in all interactions.
Qualifications
We’re looking for individuals who:
Are 18 years or older.
Are college-bound or pursuing trade/professional education.
Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
Are motivated, organized, and eager to learn.
Enjoy making a positive impact in their community.
Program Details
Start Date: Monday, June 30, 2025
End Date: Friday, August 22, 2025
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Schedule: Maximum of 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule based on project needs.
Location: Assignments may vary based on partnering agency locations.
